Before Printing
✅ Check your printer has enough ink ✅ Use good quality paper for better coloring experience ✅ Preview the PDF before printing to ensure correct orientation ✅ Test print one page first if unsure about settings
During Printing
✅ Print in black and white to save colored ink ✅ Use "Best" or "High Quality" setting for clearer lines ✅ Ensure paper is loaded correctly in the printer tray ✅ Print multiple copies if you want to try different coloring styles
After Printing
✅ Let ink dry for a few seconds before handling ✅ Store extra prints flat to prevent curling ✅ Keep originals in case you want to print more later

Saving Ink Tips
💡 Print in Draft Mode - Uses less ink, still readable 💡 Use Black & White - Saves colored ink cartridges 💡 Print multiple pages per sheet for testing (but not recommended for actual coloring) 💡 Adjust density to lighter setting if available
Best Practices
For Young Children (3-5 years)
- Use thick lines and simple designs
- Print on cardstock for durability
- Consider larger paper sizes if available
For Older Children (6-10 years)
- Standard paper works well
- Can handle more detailed designs
- Try different paper textures for variety
For Classrooms
- Print in bulk during low-usage times
- Create a printing schedule to manage resources
- Use draft mode for practice copies
- Keep originals as masters for re-printing
Eco-Friendly Printing
🌱 Print double-sided when possible (for non-coloring materials) 🌱 Use recycled paper - good quality recycled paper works great 🌱 Print only what you need - no need to print entire collections 🌱 Reuse test prints as scratch paper
